Maruti Suzuki launches new Dzire

The vehicle will come with 6 different and spectacular color variants including Oxford Blue, Sherwod Brown, Gallant Red, Silky Silver, Magma Gray and White.

Suzuki Motor Corporation's Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the all-new Dzire compact sedan in India on 16 May, 2017.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire VS Tata Tigor - Engine Specifications: On the mechanically front, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes with same set of engine options wherein the petrol unit is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol mill and the diesel version gets 1.3-litre DDiS diesel motor. The Dzire was specially created for India, and has been one of the most popular brands ever in the Indian automobile industry.

Ayukawa added: "The all-New Dzire has the looks and design of an authentic sedan". There are also three new colours on offer with the 2017 Dzire - Oxford Blue, Gallant Red and Sherwood Brown. The claimed fuel efficiency for the petrol engine is 22 km/l and 28.4 km/l for to the diesel engine. Both engines come paired with a 5-speed manual and Automated Manual Transmission options.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets the existing model's powertrains. Nor will there be any mild hybrid or SHVS variant.

The new Dzire is built on the HEARTECT platform, which also underpins the Baleno and the yet to be launched new-gen Swift.

The sedan would be mainly produced at the company's Manesar facility.

The base L trim (LXi, LDi) gets basic equipment such as steel wheels, dual-tone interior, manual air- conditioning and tilt adjust steering. The feature list includes LED projector headlamps, DRLs, reverse parking sensors, reverse parking camera, SmartPlay infotainment system with built-in navigation support and voice command (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay enabled), push button start/stop with smart key, automatic climate control, auto headlamps, rear AC vents and electronically adjustable/foldable ORVMs.

The V trim (VXi, VDi) in comparison gets quite a bit of kit.

The Z trims are one below the top-spec and gets 15 inch alloy wheels and chrome window linings for that premium look.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the all-new 2017 Dzire with a price tag that starts at Rs 5.54 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi and goes up all the way to Rs 9.41 lakh for the top-spec diesel auto.
