The driver of the auto, a 30-year-old Beavercreek man, was confirmed killed in the crash, Dayton police Lt. Mark Ponichtera said.

ABC4's sister station WDTN in Dayton captured this incredible footage.

One person was killed and three others injured in a single-vehicle crash early Monday. His identity has not been released.

Traffic in the Dayton, Ohio, area will be impacted for a while as authorities make sure Interstate 75 is safe to reopen following a fatal crash Sunday.

Police say a 30-year-old Beavercreek man was killed when he collided with the truck on Interstate 75 in Dayton on Sunday.

I-75 was closed in both directions, though southbound lanes were due to open around 7 pm. The truck driver suffered minor injuries. "We have multiple thoroughfares that are shut down here, all lanes on 75 are shut down at this moment".

"We had quite a bit of a scene, large explosions going on right now", Ponichtera said in a hastily called press conference off the interstate. "We do have a hazmat response as a result of that". That side of the highway is expected to be closed for a few days.
