Eight sites will host first- and second-round competition on May 12 and May 14, and four quarterfinal games will be played on May 20 or May 21.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The No. 10-ranked University of MI women's tennis team won the doubles point and cruised to three singles wins in a 4-0 victory over Youngstown State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon (May 12) at the Varsity Tennis Center.

"It's an honor to play on these courts", South Florida head coach Ashley Fisher said. "Our guys have worked hard, we've prepared well and we're really excited to play".

HPU was one-and-done in its two previous trips to the tournament, in 2013 and 2014.

"Britt has been a rock for us", Corbett said. "We trust each other and love each other, which is the most important thing". It's never been done with lacrosse. "I'm just ready to get after it".

Penn State is one of just three campuses in the nation to be hosting both men's and women's NCAA Division I games this weekend, a reward for a pair of spectacular seasons.

"I don't think our attack was moving the ball very well for much of the game and we really struggled with our shooting", Brower Corbett said. "We grew up here or are closer to home and we get to play on Mother's Day, so there are a lot of positives".

The 36 combined goals were also a record, surpassing the 33 scored by Syracuse and North Carolina in 2012 as the most ever in an NCAA tournament game. Jenna Collins, Larkin, and O'Sullivan accounted for all six of the team's assists with each player dishing out two helpers. The Falcons are on a five-game winning streak.

Rosenzweig and Erin Barry strung together three unanswered goals between the two - ending a scoreless stretch of 14-plus minutes - to cut the deficit to one with nine minutes remaining, as Penn and Navy traded scores to make it an 11-10 game with under three minutes remaining.

With her fourth-straight win, the freshman improved to 25-10 on the season and moves into a tie for 14th on Auburn's single season wins list. Senior attack Emily Rogers-Healion had two goals and two assists for the Quakers, who were whistled for a whopping 27 fouls.

Navy was clinging to a one-goal lead and time was winding down on the shot clock.

Coach Mark Ardizzone's team finished the season with a record of 17-8 while Auburn (24-10) advances to Saturday's second round against Florida State.

"It is nice and they're right next door", Eppley said. "We did that early which gave us confidence on defense and momentum on offense".

A series of steals from sophomore defender Katy Junior buoyed a 4-1 game-ending run by Penn women's lacrosse, but the No. 7 Quakers couldn't complete the comeback in a stunning first-round upset. "Every programs has a different style, a different tradition, and they know how to do what they're good at week after week".

Gaeng capped the run by taking a pass from Poulin and scoring with 22:45 left.
