Her father Adam Harrison told BBC Breakfast that since meeting Grande, Lily is "on cloud nine" and is "chomping at the bit" to go to the One Love Manchester concert on Sunday.

Pop star Ariana, whose concert at the Manchester Arena was the target for a suicide bombing less than two weeks ago, is returning to the city for the One Love Manchester charity event, which will raise funds for the victims and the families affected by the attack.

"All proceeds from each sale of the track featured on the page will be donated to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund in coordination with the British Red Cross", Grande's Dangerous Woman tour update account shared on Twitter.

The May 22 attack by suicide bomber Salman Abedi killed 22 people and wounded 116.

Ariana Grande asked an injured fan what she could do to help them when she paid them a visit in hospital on Friday.

Lauren Thorpe, the mother of 8-year-old Lily Harrison, tweeted a picture of the pair hugging, writing: "Tonight's visit from @ArianaGrande was incredible". She was just there for anything, everything.

Her father Peter wrote on Facebook: "This means more to us than all the fantastic things people have done this week".

He wrote he was so happy, "i could burst! They will be on my mind and in my heart every day and I will think of them with everything I do for the rest of my life".

Grande will be joined by the Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay and other stars. The event will take place at a stadium only four miles from the arena where the attack occurred.

The singer also took selfies with just about everyone including the hospital staff, and even took the time to chat on FaceTime with other fans that were at the original Manchester show.

Thousands of people are submitting fraudulent claims to get free tickets to Ariana Grande's Sunday benefit for Manchester. "Lily's face lit up and Ariana was awesome with her".
