Deputies said after they stopped Humphries, he walked to the front of a patrol vehicle and tried to open the driver's door.

Humphries is also accused of ripping the door handle off another deputy's vehicle. Humphries was arrested and put inside the vehicle.

The Florida Highway Patrol has released a report detailing a traffic accident which occurred prior to the arrest of a naked man found walking on U.S. Hwy. 441.

A man found walking naked down US 441 is facing a pair of criminal mischief charges after damaging sheriff's office vehicles, the Marion County Sheriff's Office said.

The driver's vehicle sustained close to $1,000 worth of damage and the Dunnellon District Office sustained $10,000 worth of damage. That vehicle belonged to a Marion County Sheriff's Office deputy. "Are you kidding me, dude?"

Humphries was promptly put in handcuffs and placed in the back seat of the auto.

"Let me explain to you why you're in cuffs. That's not normal", the officer explained.

He then kicked the rear passenger door and pulled on the metal cage, causing $1,000 in damage. Police said the entire door will most likely need to be replaced. FHP is conducting a separate investigation into the vehicle crash he was originally involved in.

But when cops caught up with 18-year-old Andrew Humphries he did not appreciate being quizzed about his lack of attire.
